The second session will be at Tom Krefetz’ Classic Showcase. Following the training session, Tom will include a tour of his facility where we’ll have the opportunity to admire his car restoration work.

Directions to Classic Showcase:

- From Hwy 5 drive east on Rte. 78, 4 miles, to Emerald Dr.
- Drive north on Emerald, 1.5 miles, until it becomes North Ave.
- Drive east on North Ave, 0.8 miles, and turn right on Vista Pacific Drive to Classic Showcase

DRIVE to HERNANDEZ' HIDEAWAY
North County Drive and Lunch

Hernandez' Hideaway

The drive will start in the parking lot near BJ's Brewhouse and Restaurant located at the North County Westfield Mall
in Escondido. Directions: Take I-15 to Escondido and exit at Via Rancho Parkway. If coming from the south, Via Rancho Parkway exits directly into the main entrance of the mall. BJ's will be immediately on your left next to Macaroni Grill where
we have started several previous drives .

We will meet around 1030 and start the drive by 1100. The drive will take
about 90 minutes which would put us at Hernandez Hideway around 1230-1245 for lunch. We will order from the menu.

That's the plan so far. We will do a little peaking and tweaking so keep hawking this site for updates,
maps, directions etc.

SDJC at the FAIR

Del Mar Fair

Once again we have the opportunity to show our lovely cats to a swooning public at the Car Shows of the San Diego Fair and get into the county fair for free.

How to attend:

1) Contact Katherine Partain at: kepartain@yahoo.com or 858-722-5280, to reserve your spot (8 spots available, first come, first served)
2) On 6/28 meet at 9:00 a.m. at the north end of the Albertson’s parking lot on Villa de la Valle, next to the McDonalds
3) At 9:25 a.m. leave the parking lot to Caravan in to the fair grounds
4) Park your car, fill out the display forms, and visit the fair for the day
5) 2:45 p.m. be back at your car for the awards ceremony for the day’s winners.
6) 3:00 p.m. Move your car out to the parking lot
7) Return to the fair – stay until closing time if you wish.
8) You can bring up to 3 guests with you for the day. If they cannot arrive with you in the morning, please let Katherine know when you register that you need an extra parking pass for the green lot.
